Is this puzzle symmetrical?

Totally symmetrical. The dotted squares form an x shape with 3 lines in each arm.

Can you please give some starting points for the dotted lines? I cannot figure it out :(

Finally - now I also understand the hint correctly :D
it is an X filled with 3 lines in each arm, not made of 3 lines.

After lots of different possible solutions, finally found the right one. Horrible puzzle.
