I'm afraid this puzzle is illogical and requires guessing and since there is no obvious pattern, it is virtually impossible to guess, thus rendering it a little bit pointless. I'm not sure what value a scribble has anyway? Maybe someone else will enjoy this kind of non-puzzle but it is not for me.
I've just checked it without using any temporaries, and completed it in half an hour. It is fully logical, and requires no guesswork. It's designed for those who want a logical challenge rather than a pretty picture, but if people can appreciate Jackson Pollock's art then they can appreciate this. Nonetheless, thank you for your feedback. I won't take it into consideration, but feel free to check out my other puzzles if you want a challenge.
I just came back to this and you are 100% correct. It is logical and I am a fool. I don't know why I assumed it was illogical and was so quick to write a critical review. What a wally! I can only come up with the pitiful excuse that I had hanjied myself out yesterday. Apologies. I shall refrain from commenting in future unless I am completely certain it is illogical. Plus it turns out the picture has artistic value. It almost looks like a cross between Asterix and Mario.
