I wish I could get a puppy!! Unfortunately (after trying it twice) we are just not equip to give the time needed for a dog. I plan to get a Pappillion once the 4 kids leave and I have "empty nest syndrome!" LOL
Right now we just have to be happy with our five kitty cats! No typo, we have FIVE cats! LOL Actually right now we are taking care of my oldest daughters FOUR cats too...so we have NINE kitties in the house currently! Yikes!
With four kids, three adults, two teenagers PLUS the nine cats we have a FULL house!! WAY TOO MANY for one house! Luckily we have a big house!! LOL
Actually, I believe, the more the merrier! Love isn't ever divided...it's MULTIPLIED! :)
Had a great time solving this one. TOTALLY logical! Thanks! ~:)
Who? Me? Unfortunately I cant drink those things. They make me too darn jumpy! LOL I do drink a few cups of coffee in the morn and TONS of sweet tea during the day! Plus I'm only 34 so I still have a bit of energy left in me. Not MUCH..but there is a little to spare! LOL
THANKFULLY my youngest is in 2nd grade so I no longer have little ones at home all day which is what gives me the TIME to play here! :) The kids are ages 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, & 19 so the older ones help with the younger kids! Heck, I HAVE to get the teens help my kiddos with their homework b/c LORD KNOWS that I don't understand it!! They teach math COMPLETELY differently then they did when I was younger so I am of NO help at ALL with that! LOL
We may have a VERY full house but everyone chips in. They HAVE to b/c I have Fibromyalgia and arthritis so there is absolutely NO PHYSICAL WAY that I could do it by myself! I'm fairly certain that even someone with NO health issues couldn't even keep up with NINE people and NINE cats!! I have to run this house like a drill sergeant tho!! I have schedules and chore lists posted all over the house so NOBODY can say, "Well I didnt KNOW...blah blah blah!" ha ha Now...if I could only get my 19 yr old to come and get her 4 kitties b/c NINE cats in one house is WAY WAY WAY (x9) too many!! LOL :)
And BTW: Only the TWO youngest kids I am raising are biologically MINE. Two are my husbands from a previous relationship (whom I RAISE), and the other two are my sisters kids...who are actually MOVING OUT this weekend! Woot! As the only ADULT "stay at home" mom though...it's ALL up to me to keep the kids on track!
You are completely correct....it's EXHAUSTING!!! But totally WORTH IT! ~:)
And I can HAPPILY report that we are now down to just MY family...the four kids and us (plus the NINE cats..4 of which will HOPEFULLY be gone soon). My sister and her two teens moved out yesterday!! Yea!! I love them all to death but it was CRAZY here and I always had to cook enough to feed an ARMY. Now with only the six of us our life can get back to "normal"...if there is such a thing!
