in love (with a puppy)

I was so dazzled with the faces that I completely forgot the dog... There are thousands of solutions - therefore just 2*.

Clues someone? This starts out seeming simple enough but shortly after it seems almost impossible! 12 people who solved this, mind sharing how?

Joe Tramp, the link doesn't work any more. Do you have any hints? I keep trying to make two weird stick people with the dog in the middle, but it's just not making any sense.

Unless those aren't legs and they're weird dog houses/hurdles.

LeroDraco - you're right - 2 stick people , feet towards the dog in the middle. Symmetrical man on left (apart from arms and feet), with a heart in his hand over the dog. Woman with long hair facing man (the 5 is her face) with a sort of cross for hands over the dog. Hope that helps :-)

AH, thankyou, Sparrow! I kept trying to make their feet completely symmetrical. That makes more sense b/c I thought the bodies were side views. And I knew there was a heart, but I just couldn't get it to work.

Took me forever, but I finally got it. Came around once I knew that black border was her hair, and the heart was actually moved one row up. :)

The man is facing us. The woman is looking at the man and smiling.

I have almost everything correct. But there are two possibilities for heart (starting R10 or starting R11) and two possibilities for dog (R21 C11 or R21 C12). Tried all combinations of them with the devil thing with woman but failed. Any hint to finish this?

Returning to this after some months. Now with fresh mind to think alternatives. Found my way changing the girl. Finally got the right answer.
