Very cute and completely logical puzzle! Thanks! ~:)
Gotta share this story.... We were on a cruise and did an "excursion" to swim with a SEA LION! So we get in the FRIGID water with our flippers and such and meet the sea lion. About 5 minutes into the experience, our sea lion found a puffer fish in the water. The fish (of course) swelled up to its full size. That didn't deter the sea lion as he TRULY PLAYED with the fish! He would grab it and throw it up in the air, then balance it on his nose before flinging it into the air again. This "performance" went on for quite a while and during that time we were told to stay FAR AWAY from the sea lion since he had a "kill" and it would have been dangerous to get next to him while in the middle of his "meal." It was really a BLAST watching him use the puffer fish like a ball! I kinda felt bad for the fish...but it's a FISH so I didn't feel THAT bad. I was just enjoying the show! I honestly didn't realize that a WILD sea lion played like that! I thought they had to be taught tricks! After he was done with the it (or it swam away...I really dont remember what happened to the fish) we got to "play" with him which was REALLY COOL! He felt like a wet dog (and smelled like one too!) LOL
The only thing that I was REALLY upset about is how the sea lion was being treated. Usually when we go on excursions like this the animals are treated MUCH better. When we swam with stingrays we were in the OPEN SEA in the middle of the ocean on a "sand bar" called "Stingray City," so the stingrays could come and go as they pleased. THAT was really a cool experience! When we swam with dolphins they had them in a HUGE swimming "pen" and they had TONS of room to swim and play (prob not as much room as they NEEDED but they were treated well and seemed really happy). We got to hold on to the fin of "Apollo" (our dolphin) while he swam SUPER FAST around the pen. We saw him do tricks and had a really great time with them! My cheeks HURT after the excursion b/c I was smiling and laughing so much that I couldn't help but smile the whole time!
We figured it would be the same with the sea lion! However, when we got to the excursion (although it WAS fun), the poor sea lion had a rope around his neck like a leash and that rope was then tied to a BOAT. So this poor sea lion only had about 20 feet or so of rope to swim around with! I felt SO BAD for him and although we had a ton of fun I still had VERY STRONG WORDS for the cruise line about it when we were done! I PRAY they have changed this!!
In any case, the puffer fish reminded me of the sea lion and I thought I would share! ~:)
@Xavirez: Yes, even though we had a great time with the sea lion and it was a once in a lifetime opportunity...I just HAD to say something! I cant STAND to see animals (or people) being mistreated!!
