Lucky guess!!! The 'A" is not 'A'. Try top left and bottom right to start with a 2x2 square.

Doesn't seem logical, though it's guessable. The 2x2 square mentioned by Tsir leaves one blank space to the side, but they're flush with the top and bottom.

I've had 2 incorrect answers now...I am stumped!

Middle blocks start at top left and finish at bottom right.
