The Glenfinnan Viaduct is a 21-arch bridge that overlooks the valley and Loch Shiel. It is famous in particular by the Harry Potter saga where you can see the Hogwarts Express. You can admire this steam train passing by but also take it to link Fort William to Mallaig since 1984 when it was reinstated for a tourist purpose only. Otherwise, the line is used daily to connect Mallaig to Glasgow with a regular train. Fun fact, the viaduct is featured on the Scottish £10 note issued in 2007.
