Spoiler: Assuming you have the outside which is a sort of diamond shape then ... Its a diagonal 4 by 4 grid. The first line of 1s runs diagonally from top rightmost space to the 1 middle right and then diagonally down to the bottom (including a 2x2 block). All the 2s are in squares. Sorry it's a complicated description but hope it helps :)
I got the "frame" completed but couldn't finish it from there. :( Thanks though! I have definitely made puzzles that were unsolvable too...RECENTLY! Don't be discouraged. It happens. I still appreciate the effort! ~:)
I did figure it out. Sparrow's hint of the 2s being in squares is what really helped me. (Extra hint - They start from the left corner and go to the bottom corner.) Create the rest of the ascending diagonal grid lines from the corners of the squares. The other lines should be easy enough to figure out as they are descending to form the uneven grid.
Hint: (r,c) 1) Diagonal from (4,14) to (13,23), 3) Diagonal from (6,13) to (15,21), 3) Diagonal from (9,9) to (18,18), 4) Diagonal from (11,6) to (21,21), (Blocks: 1,2,1,2,1,2,2), 5) Diagonal from (5,15) to (14,6), 6) Diagonal from (8,18) to (17,9), 7) Diagonal from (11,21) to (20,12) & 8) Diagonal from (13,23) to (22,14).
