Nevermore

The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe
A very brief summary:
Trying to escape a dark mood by reading... but hope and light both fade. The fire, too, is dying. The only thing that remains is the cruelty of death, the haunt of a memory, and a raven with only one answer, "Nevermore."

Quite a gloomy subject, I know. But I too have been grieving... not so much the loss of a loved one but that of kindness, unity, and truth. Perhaps it's not as grave as it seems and the raven has lost its one word vocabulary.
