If it helps, the face is made with a circle where the squares only touch corners and the outline is symmetrical. But like Huntress said, it would be better if people checked the puzzles beforehand to make sure they were solvable.
Pearce is absolutely WRONG. I guessed it on the first try, but it's definitely not logical, or symmetrical. Even after you assume the symmetrical outer circle, the inside face has at least two ambiguous pixels.
